Position Summary Reporting into the Director of Web Content Strategy, the Web Content Manager is responsible for shaping and overseeing content planning, development and execution for web properties managed by Strategic Marketing and Communications (SMC) that is user-oriented, valuable, usable, sharable, findable and measurable. The web content manager will write, develop and manage compelling content that elevates the university’s reputation and brand awareness with audiences, supports business goals, and drives student enrollment and retention. As a member of SMC and the Web Collaboration Center (WCC) at Temple, the web content manager plays a central role in maintaining a dynamic and effective online presence for Temple University websites. In addition to maintaining regular website updates, the incumbent will collaborate closely with the Director of Web Content Strategy and WCC colleagues to evolve use of the university’s Drupal framework and component library.
