About The Position

WEB APPLICATION PROGRAMMER (FULL STACK DEVELOPER) CLIENT: STATE OF FLORIDA LOCATION: ONSITE/HYBRID IN TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA MUST RESIDE IN TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA DUE: ASAP Please Note: This is a 1099 role. This is a contract role and is available through 6/30/2026 with eligibility for renewal. CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Contractor staff assigned to this agreement must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience: 1.1. Five years of experience developing applications in #C .Net; 1.2. Three years of experience with Azure DevOps; 1.3. Two years of experience with collection, calculation, and analysis of data related to FEMA claims. 1.4. Two years of experience with analysis of People First data for service costing; 1.5. Three years of experience with HTML; 1.6. Three years of experience with MVC; 1.7. Three years of experience with AngularJS, Javascript/JQuery; 1.8. Five years of experience with Visual Studio; 1.9. Three years of experience with SQL Server development, including tables, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views; 1.10. Five years of experience writing, reading, and interpreting technical specifications, test cases, and application requirements; 1.11. Three years of experience with IT security standards regarding application hardening and data encryption; 1.12. Two years of experience with web accessibility standards; 1.13. Three years of experience with integrations using REST web services, including JSON and XML data transport; 1.14. Three years of experience with IIS environment for clients and servers; 1.15. Three years of experience with SSRS; 1.16. Five years of experience with Object Oriented analysis, design, and best practices; 1.17. Two years of experience with Azure cloud services, including build and release, Azure SQL, triggers, pipelines, and configuration; 1.18. Five years of experience developing web-based applications; 1.19. Experience with FLAIR data and reports; and 1.20. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Scrum development projects, including Planning Sessions, Stand-Up Sessions, Review Sessions, Backlog Grooming Sessions, Pointing Sessions, and Retrospective Sessions, as directed by the Department
  • Modify, create, and test application code and database code for identified stories on a three-week cycle, with a zero-defect rate, as directed by the Department
  • Document application modifications and additions daily as coding tasks are assigned by the Department, and store in a document repository
