About The Position
Confiz is seeking a seasoned Technical Architect to join their growing Architecture Team. This role is focused on shaping and optimizing modern web and mobile front-end ecosystems, building a scalable, modular, and high-performance digital landscape. The architect will play a key role in designing intelligent, API-driven platforms that enable personalized, responsive, and data-driven customer experiences. Confiz's customer base includes Fortune 100 retail and CPG companies, leading store chains, fast growth fintech, and multiple Silicon Valley startups. Requirements
- 9+ years of overall experience in software engineering
- 3–5 years in a Technical Architect or similar leadership role
- Strong hands-on experience with: React / React Native
- .NET Core / ASP.NET backend technologies
- Proven experience working in complex enterprise environments with multiple dependencies
- Deep expertise in: Headless architecture
- Microservices & API-first design
- Event-driven systems
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and SaaS platforms
- Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud infrastructure
- Strong ability to communicate architectural decisions to senior stakeholders with a structured approach
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart (or similar)
- Azure or AWS Architecture Certifications
- Experience working in a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical thought leader across front-end engineering teams delivering digital solutions
- Define and govern end-to-end architecture for web and mobile platforms aligned with enterprise standards
- Translate high-level architecture into detailed technical designs
- Convert functional and non-functional requirements into scalable and secure solutions
- Collaborate closely with product, business, and engineering teams to shape solution architecture
- Evaluate architectural options, document trade-offs, and maintain Architectural Decision Records (ADRs)
- Guide engineering teams in technology selection, tools, and platform decisions
- Design architecture across key components including Web, Mobile Apps, SSO, and eCommerce platforms
- Lead and facilitate design reviews to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with security, data protection, and regulatory standards
