About The Position

The Truist Wealth Onboarding Manager will report to the Truist Wealth Director of Development and is responsible developing and managing the overall onboarding events to maximize the profitability of the Firm's investment in newly-recruited Wealth teammates, Wealth managers and Premier Bankers. Also develop and oversee Wealth Brokerage Onboarding and Transition Managers and Wealth Onboarding Specialists that assist newly-recruited Wealth teammates, Wealth Managers and Premier Bankers. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and related training
  • Seven years of broker/dealer or financial services industry experience. Strong understanding Wealth products, services, operations and systems.
  • Five years of management experience mentoring, training and developing other teammates
  • FINRA SIE, 7, 66, 24 examinations
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks, reprioritize tasks and work well under intense pressure
  • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office Products; knowledge of brokerage systems would be a plus
  • Ability to do extensive travel, 1-7 weeks at a time, including weekends

Responsibilities

  • Oversees coordinating of all onboarding events (juggling multiple events at one time) and works with Divisional Directors, Complex Directors and Managing Directors for any issues that may arise including scheduling new onboarding events.
  • Reviews and maintains content on Onboarding and Training website
  • Works with management and other key areas (operations, sales, compliance etc) for continued development of onboarding process
  • Review of post onboarding activities
  • Works closely with Truist Wealth Director of Development for any reports or special projects needed by management
  • Ability to travel for meetings and help with onsite onboarding if needed
  • Coaching and developing Wealth Brokerage Onboarding and Transition Managers and Wealth Onboarding Specialists
  • Tracks onboarding expenses and onboarding stats to ensure maximum profitability and efficiency
