As a Wealth Management Operations Coordinator, you will work as part of a brokerage operations processing team and provide quality customer service by providing detailed, accurate, and timely communications to ensure agent advisors, customers and internal staff are aware of the status of their accounts and service items.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required plus one year of relevant experience required.
  • Must be knowledgeable regarding the application of current tax laws and regulations.
  • Must have strong computer skills (Word and Excel) required.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and training skills are required.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work 8am-4:30pm Monday - Friday from our office in West Des Moines, IA.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or similar insurance/financial service work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve customer service requests via phone and email according to Farm Bureau policies and clearing firm guidelines in a prompt and efficient way.
  • Ensure accuracy of processing functions and verify suitability and compliance.
  • Cross train in direct business and sales support.
  • Responsible for establishing and servicing the following in a broker/dealer environment: Deposits and retirement account contributions, Distributions and withdrawals, Email Notifications to agents, Monthly Account Audits, Online Service requests, General Account Maintenance.
  • Provide operational support for projects and product development/maintenance.
