About The Position

Our interns experience firsthand what it is like working in the world of financial services. As a summer intern you will work side by side with our team to provide individuals, businesses, municipalities, and not-for-profit organizations with access to all the financial services they will ever need. Interns will act as a member of the team for the summer, assisting the department and helping achieve the bank’s goal – of ensuring our community thrives and grows. Throughout the summer, interns will have an opportunity to connect with each other, shadow within a branch, network with different departments, and enjoy social events.  The summer culminates in a presentation to their managers and the Executive Team. This position is a paid internship/co-op for Summer 2026.  Program begins Tuesday, May 26th, 2026. Wealth Management (Financial Planning) Intern  The Wealth Management intern will support financial planning execution and system transition while building a support model for clients. In this role, you will:

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Financial Planning, or a related field.
  • Completion of relevant coursework in finance, investments, or personal financial planning preferred.
  • Exposure to financial planning coursework or tools.
  • Basic understanding of investment concepts (asset allocation, risk, return, etc.).
  • Excel proficiency.
  • Possess strong communication skills and organizational skills.
  • Desire and comfort interacting with a wide variety of people, both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in building, updating, and migrating financial plans using MoneyGuidePro and eMoney
  • Gather, organize, and input client financial data into planning systems
  • Draft planning summaries and supporting materials for advisor review
  • Support plan updates related to annual reviews and client changes
  • Assist with administrative and analytical work during the eMoney transition
  • Shadow client meetings and internal planning discussions
  • Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.
