Summary of Duties and Functions: Accept directions and suggestions from immediate supervisor. Supervise large and small groups of children in an afterschool environment, independently and as part of a team. Ensure the safety of students at all times. Assist the program leader in planning the program and environment. Lead students in developmentally appropriate activities as assigned. Assist in the maintenance of records, charts, and complete other clerical work as assigned using current computer hardware and software. Communicate with students and families in a professional manner. Attend required in-services training sessions.
