WDI Show Control Hardware Intern, Orlando, Summer/Fall 2026
About The Position

The approximate date of this internship is May/June 2026 to December 2026 and will be located in Orlando, FL.
Requirements
- Hands on experience with industrial control systems
- Familiarity with control hardware design systems
- Familiarity with PLCs
- Interest in working in a "test and adjust" construction environment
- Ability to work as a member of a technical team
- Computer literacy with MS Office products
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher attending an accredited college/university earning a degree majoring in Engineering, studying Electrical, Electronics or Software Engineering, or related field
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
- Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work
- Fully available for the duration of the internship
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with MatLab and/or UML
- AutoCad and/or SolidWorks experience
- Experience with Revit
- Experience working in a professional engineering environment
- Successful completion of fundamental Electrical, Electronics or Software Engineering courses
Responsibilities
- Prepare, under supervision, basic engineering design and calculation
- Provide general engineering support to Lead Engineers
