About The Position

Serve Those Who Served. Goodwill Southern California is proud to support veterans and their families through career development and employment programs. We’re hiring a WCD Veterans Specialist to empower veterans and military family members as they transition to civilian careers and achieve long-term success. What You’ll Do: Provide individualized case management and employment counseling to veterans and eligible family members. Conduct needs assessments, develop tailored employment plans, and connect participants to training and resources. Facilitate workshops on resume writing, interviewing, and workplace readiness. Build partnerships with employers, veteran service organizations, and community agencies. Maintain accurate records and ensure program compliance with funder and organizational standards. What You Bring: Must be a U.S. military veteran or immediate family member (spouse, parent, sibling, or child). High school diploma or GED required; 1–2 years of career counseling or case management experience. Experience supporting individuals with barriers to employment. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Non-profit and/or veteran-service experience preferred; bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
