About The Position

We’re expanding and hiring a Wave Planner to work from our logistics facility located in Gastonia, NC. The Wave Planner is responsible for managing and optimizing the wave planning process within our distribution warehouse. Ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment. Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience with warehouse management system, preferably Blue Yonder
Experience with supply chain and logistics best practices
Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Demonstrated time management skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Detail-oriented with an ability to manage multiple tasks, reprioritize as needed, and work within time constraints.
Ability to communicate well, both written and verbal.
Able to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
Must have the ability to multi-task.
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
Must possess intermediate math and reading skills.
Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Must be team oriented.

Experience with Microsoft Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

Create and manage wave plans in Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring optimal order picking and shipping efficiency.
Monitor and prioritize orders based on customer requirements, inventory levels, and shipping schedules.
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors, inventory control, and shipping teams to ensure smooth execution of wave plans.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to wave planning and order fulfillment, identifying areas for improvement.
Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to wave planning, order picking, and shipping.
Maintain and update WMS configurations and settings to support efficient wave planning processes.
Scan and upload all shipping documents in TMS from the previous day.
Check-in all incoming drivers in Blue Yonder to confirm load details are accurate.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance warehouse operations.
