About The Position
The purpose of this position is to aid in the scheduling and passing of manifests and orders to the warehouse, order fulfillment, and kitting and assembly floor. This role involves scheduling warehouse waves from the current system as well as the Kitting and Assembly Floor. Additionally, the Wave Planner will collaborate with operational departments to adjust schedules for cycle counts in forward staged areas.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 years in manufacturing and production or past scheduling experience
- Standard computer skills including the use of a mouse and typing skills
- Knowledge of basic e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet applications
- Basic Writing and communication skills for interacting with company personnel
Responsibilities
- Review and schedule for 3PL area.
- Review and schedule rush orders for the 3PL area, schedule the warehouse manifests and define the delivery locations of these manifests, using the current system
- Archive all filed manifests and Master Picks by date.
- Attend pre planning meetings to discuss ways to run new projects and schedule them.
- Identify status and make scheduling decisions using reports.
- Interacts with the production supervisors and leads: to acquire daily and real time statuses to aid in making scheduling decisions for 3PL order fulfilment.
