Waterpark Cabana Server Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Cabana Server. In this role, you will be responsible for providing friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectations beverage and dining experience for all guests As part of our team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari.
Requirements
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Ability to operate a Micros (cash register) terminal and Phone system.
- Must be effective in handling opportunities in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests, inform them of drink specials, provide menu tours, and recommend items you genuinely feel guests will enjoy and advise any menu changes.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in the point-of-sale system and relay any special dietary needs and special requests.
- Deliver food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner, along with the appropriate accompaniments and condiments from service bars.
