About The Position

The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking a SEASONAL Waterfront Manager for our Camp Twin Lakes branch in Cedar Park, TX. Waterfront Managers are responsible for daily waterfront operations of our two lakes including supervising all head guards, lifeguards, and swim instructors and ensuring they fulfill all assigned job duties. Waterfront Managers will also perform water maintenance and water testing as needed. Availability: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm from the beginning of May until the end of August We are offering $260 bonus for new staff! The successful candidate will: Have strong interpersonal skills including tact, patience and courtesy Work collaboratively with team members Maintain regular and reliable attendance Ensure all equipment is in good working order

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum one year aquatic facilities management or minimum of 3 years previous lifeguard experience
  • Must hold current Professional CPR, AED, O2 and First Aid certifications
  • Must hold a current American Red Cross or YMCA Lifeguard certification
  • Experience with and knowledge of pool maintenance and proper water chemistry is needed
  • Must be able to pass reference checks, a criminal history background check, sex offender check, and pre-employment drug screen
