UW Recreation has an outstanding opportunity for a Manager of Waterfront Facility Rentals to join their team. SUMMARY: The Manager of Waterfront Facility Rentals is responsible for a portfolio of rental spaces including the ASUW Shell House, Waterfront Activities Center (WAC) Great Room, Docks, Green Space and West Lot. Responsibilities include management of the daily operations and group rentals/events of waterfront rental facilities, ensuring event coverage and high-quality customer service, as well as policy compliance and sound financial management. The Manager of Waterfront Facility Rentals will be a contributing member of UW Recreation and participate in department-wide initiatives and committee work. The working schedule for this position will flex by season. It is expected that this position will work weekends as needed to provide support and oversight of facility rentals at various times throughout the year. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Outreach and serves on the Recreation Leadership Team and other campus committees. It serves as a department resource on program development, equipment purchasing, staff training, and policy development. At the University of Washington, diversity is integral to excellence.
