As a Waterfowl Population Assessor (Biological Science Assistant) in Summer Lake, Oregon, you will: Capture, identify, and band migratory game bird species Monitor movements Record populations information for waterfowl species Monitor population status to support harvest management decisions Buildings, grounds, and facilities maintenance Habitat maintenance and management The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. Requirements

  • This position requires acquiring an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) Safety Education Card obtained through the Oregon State Parks and Recreation Department within the first thirty days of appointment.
