About The Position

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join their Water Team in Winter Springs, FL or Tampa, FL. This role involves guiding critical water infrastructure projects from planning through delivery, working alongside experts to provide sustainable, forward-thinking solutions that make a lasting impact. The position is client-facing and requires technical expertise, collaboration, and leadership to deliver water and wastewater infrastructure that strengthens communities and safeguards natural resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
  • Minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience required
  • Strong working and theoretical knowledge in the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply engineering knowledge in practical settings
  • Proven ability to manage scope, budget and schedule of technical tasks
  • Proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
  • Strong leadership, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred
  • Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects from development of project proposals through completion, providing environmentally friendly and cost-effective solutions
  • Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including scope, budget, and schedule, and serve as a primary client contact
  • Coordinate contracts, purchase orders, and project documentation with clients and subcontractors
  • Lead project financials, subcontractor payments, and monthly review meetings with operations
  • Develop project-specific health and safety plans and ensure QA/QC compliance as determined by the Quality Management Plan
  • Communicate updates clearly to clients, management, and project teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
