We are seeking a Project Manager specializing in municipal water/wastewater engineering to join our growing team in Newport, Medford, Albany, or Coos Bay, OR. This position involves supporting clients in obtaining funding, conducting pre-design assessments, planning services, performing preliminary studies, estimating costs, preparing construction plans, and providing an owner's representative when projects go to construction. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • PE Registration in Oregon or the ability to obtain an Oregon License within 1 year
  • 10+ years of experience in the civil engineering field
  • Potable water treatment experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering design for municipal water supply infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks, well sites, and related facilities
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling using tools such as HEC‑RAS, HEC‑HMS, HEC‑FDA, InfoWater, and other industry‑standard software
  • Prepare technical calculations, design drawings, specifications, and engineering reports to support project deliverables
  • Lead or contribute to feasibility studies, alternatives analyses, and preliminary engineering evaluations for water, wastewater, and flood control projects
  • Participate in field investigations, site assessments, and data collection efforts to support engineering analysis and design
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet project goals, regulatory requirements, and client expectations
  • Manage overall project delivery, ensuring work is completed on time, within scope, and aligned with client needs and expectations
  • Coordinate and manage subconsultants, ensuring their work is integrated into the overall project plan and meets quality standards
  • Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities to support successful execution
  • Provide direction and support to staff engineers and assist senior engineers and project managers with task delegation and oversight
  • Maintain a strong record of successful project performance, contributing to repeat business with municipal clients
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, supporting relationship management and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Actively participate in relevant professional organizations to enhance technical knowledge, industry visibility, and professional development
