Consor Engineers is seeking a Water / Wastewater Pipeline Engineer to join our growing team in Phoenix, AZ. As a Water / Wastewater Pipeline Engineer at Consor, you will play a key role in the planning, design, and delivery of water, reclaimed water, and wastewater conveyance systems for municipal clients. You will evaluate system performance, develop hydraulic solutions, and prepare high‑quality design documents and technical analyses. This position provides opportunities for technical leadership, client interaction, and mentorship within a growth‑oriented team environment.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in water or wastewater conveyance and pipeline design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Strong technical writing, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with pipeline hydraulic modeling, condition assessment, and rehabilitation projects.
  • Familiarity with municipal water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Experience managing tasks, coordinating with clients, and supporting project delivery.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the planning and design of water, reclaimed water, and wastewater pipelines, pump stations, and conveyance infrastructure.
  • Perform hydraulic analyses and system modeling to support pipeline sizing, system optimization, and capacity evaluations.
  • Develop and review engineering design packages, including plans, profiles, specifications, and technical calculations.
  • Prepare technical memoranda, feasibility studies, condition assessments, and master planning documents.
  • Design and evaluate pump stations, lift stations, storage facilities, and associated appurtenances.
  • Coordinate with surveyors, geotechnical teams, utility providers, and permitting agencies.
  • Participate in project pursuits, including proposal development and client interviews.
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and support quality project delivery.
