About The Position
We are seeking a Water / Wastewater Maintenance Tech for assignment in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. The selected candidate will p erform O&M tasks for a groundwater and solid waste environmental remediation facility. Hours are Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with hazardous waste inspections and management
- Experience with various fluids pumping equipment; air compressors, industrial mixers, tanks and vessels
- Experience with electrical process controls, process systems and programmable logic controller's (PLC's)
- Experience with environmental systems, industrial water treatment specialization and groundwater sampling equipment
Responsibilities
- Perform O&M tasks for continued long-term performance of a groundwater and solid waste environmental remediation facility
- Perform maintenance and rebuilds of site equipment with capabilities to identify failed components, recommend replacement needs and install components per specific HSSE guidelines
- Maintain required documentation legibly, on time, and in an organized manner
