Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
Professional Engineer (PE) License in GA or SC — or ability to obtain within 6 months
Demonstrated experience in water & wastewater design and consulting
Strong written, verbal, and public speaking skills
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and ownership of deliverables
Ethical, professional, and committed to high-quality engineering
Passion for mentoring junior engineering staff and contributing to team development

Responsibilities

Work closely with permitting agencies, utility companies, and stakeholders to guide projects through approval processes.
Provide engineering design services, including calculations for water treatment, wastewater treatment, and linear pipeline projects.
Develop Basis of Design Reports that meet both client objectives and regulatory requirements.
Create, update, and review project specifications as needed.
Coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines to ensure project success and alignment.
Support Project Managers and leadership to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and constructable projects.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedule and quality expectations.
Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Project Manager to prepare fee proposals and Statements of Qualifications.
Maintain proactive communication with clients and team members to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure milestones are achieved.
Prepare and deliver project updates, documentation, and presentations to clients, stakeholders, and public entities.
Participate in municipal client marketing and business development efforts related to water and wastewater services.
Work collaboratively with civil engineers, planners, landscape architects, and surveyors to produce master plans, construction documents, specifications, estimates, and engineering reports.
