About The Position

Arcadis is looking for a Water/Wastewater Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience, to join our team in either Tampa, Orlando, Plantation or Miami, Florida! We are looking for a dedicated, creative, and energetic candidate, interested in tackling challenges and developing sustainable solutions to address water or wastewater issues related to quality, scarcity, reuse, management, and resilience. This role provides rapid growth and development opportunities; collaborating with other experienced Water Professionals, you will support, manage, and drive development of projects, interact, and work with clients, and develop your technical and professional capabilities.

Requirements

  • 4 years of water or wastewater engineering design and field experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited school.
  • EIT Certification.
  • Proficiency in relevant design software and familiarity with AutoCAD.
  • Technical writing, presentation skills, and ability to support production of engineering reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about technical challenges.

Nice To Haves

  • Master of Science or Master of Engineering in related field.
  • Experience in engineering and consulting, primarily related to the municipal water market.
  • Design experience with water/wastewater treatment systems, distribution/conveyance, or pumping & storage facilities.
  • Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations.

Responsibilities

  • Performing engineering evaluations, modeling, and analysis.
  • Developing design and construction documents (i.e., reports, technical memoranda, specifications, and cost estimates).
  • Supporting construction administration of projects and leading and/or assist permitting efforts.
  • Working collaboratively with multi-discipline teams.
  • Supporting the production of design and associated documentation and reports to meet or exceed client expectations as well as Arcadis requirements.
  • Support task management and/or coordination.
  • Some travel will be required for project site visits, client meetings, general planning purposes or to provide field services, depending on project staffing needs.
