We are hiring a Water/Wastewater Engineer for a hybrid role in either our Quincy, MA or Providence, RI office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
  • Excellent writing skills
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience is a plus but will consider candidates with internship or coop experience as well
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and GIS applications
  • Proficient with MS Office software
  • EIT certification strongly preferred. If working toward EIT, must obtain within the first year of employment.
  • Valid US driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Performing the following tasks for water distribution, pumping, and/or treatment systems and/or wastewater collection, pumping, and/or treatment systems: Design calculations
  • Bid documents including specifications and drawings
  • State, federal, and local permit applications
  • Performing fieldwork such as drone survey support, GPS data collection, infrastructure observations and assessment, water sampling, and construction observation
  • Contributing to technical reports describing the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions from field efforts
  • Using technical software to support wastewater and drinking water projects
  • Using AutoCAD Civil 3D to support planning and design
  • Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with staff.
