For additional information about our company, visit our website at www.fisherind.com POSITION SCOPE The Water Truck Operator must be able to operate a water truck according to project specifications. Primary duties include watering the haul road, maintaining and operating equipment on a daily basis on a washing or crushing plant. This position may include day or night shift work, travel, and overtime and weekend work.

Requirements

Applicant must be at least 18 years old
High School Diploma or Equivalent
M.S.H.A. Part 48 certified
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
Ability to lift and move up to 80 lbs.
Acceptable MVR in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policy is required
Work well in a team environment
Mechanical knowledge of equipment and being able to perform routine maintenance
Basic knowledge of welding and using a cutting torch

Responsibilities

Operate equipment efficiently to maintain production goals
Perform general maintenance, repair, and service wash or crushing plant equipment as required or directed by supervisor
Individual must be able to lift objects weighing 80 lb. on a regular basis
Use of a shovel to move material will be necessary
Follows procedures for safe operation of vehicle
Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by M.S.H.A. and company policy
Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startup
Perform other duties as assigned
