Learn more at www.Crothall.com.Job Summary Water Treatment Specialist The Water Treatment Specialist is responsible for monitoring, providing quality control, repairs, modification, membrane replacement and cleaning for the filtrations and equipment. This would include water filtrations systems like Reverse Osmosis (RO) equipment and associated pretreatment units including media filtration and micro filtration for Dialysis and Sterile Processing units.• Working with cooling towers and cooling systems to monitor the water treatment program.• Evaluating standalone RO machines, portable and main reverse osmosis water equipment• Operate, monitor, disinfect and maintain dialysis reverse osmosis systems in accordance with AAMI guidelines and manufacture specifications.• Monitor daily parameters, disinfections logs and day-to-day use on all equipment• Maintain accurate daily logs, corrective action documentation and regulatory compliance records.• Small Plumbing repairs to existing systems, changing filters and regular Preventive Maintenance to RO systems• Report complex repairs to Senior technician or infrastructure supervisor. • Adheres to AAMI Standards and CMS recommendations with each bacteria culture, endotoxin, and chemical analysis water sample result by coordinating times for repairs so equipment will be repaired and returned. • Stay informed of industry regulations that may affect current chemical treatment programs. Related to Dialysis Units and Sterile Processing.• Attend industry trade shows and seminars to stay current on latest technology and chemistry programs.• Monitor and review all service reports provided by the vendor after each site visit.• Provide performance oversight of vendor recommendations that may have a financial impact, processing, and patient care needs.• Meet with vendors representatives on a regular basis to ensure their continued ability meet the terms of their agreements with SSC.• Responsible for operations, accuracy, maintenance, and compliance monitoring of all the chlorine analyzer systems.
