About The Position

The Doe Run Company is seeking a Water & Sweeper Truck Operator to perform grounds housekeeping operations in order to maintain a safe, clean environment that meets environmental standards. This day shift position is at The Buick Resource Recycling Facility in Boss, MO. The Doe Run Company, based in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, is a privately held natural resources company and a global provider of lead, copper, and zinc concentrates. Dedicated to environmentally responsible mineral and metal production, Doe Run operates the Resource Recycling facility, one of the world’s largest, single-site lead recycling centers, located in Boss, Missouri. Requirements

Valid Driver’s License
One year of experience operating a water truck, sweeper truck or equivalent.
Knowledge of plant layout and traffic routes.
Knowledge of fueling procedures.

Responsibilities

Operate a truck wash, water truck, and sweeper truck to spread water and sweep grounds.
Perform pre-shift inspection of truck.
Perform minor maintenance on equipment, including tightening, lubricating, and cleaning equipment.
Ensure tire wash is operating properly.
Fill in as necessary for Yard Equipment Operator; safely operate yard equipment and assist with cleanup.
Assist in other facility operations when air temperature is below freezing or raining.
Complete tasks in a safe and environmentally compliant manner by following EHS (environmental, health, and safety) policies, procedures, and best practices; support and assist peers in working in a safe, compliant manner; report unsafe acts or conditions, incidents, and deviations; and provide feedback to support continuous improvement in EHS performance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
