The Water Safety Instructor-1 will be responsible for providing aquatic education to patrons. This role involves creating a positive experience for patrons through professional and courteous behavior, teaching swim lessons to preschool and school-age children (levels 1-6), and providing excellent internal and external customer service. The instructor must be able to handle stressful situations, work effectively as a team player, and practice safe work habits. The position requires interaction with co-workers and the public in a positive, professional manner, conforming to The Salvation Army Mission Statement, and working with people of diverse backgrounds and circumstances. Good judgment and initiative are essential.
