About The Position

LandStudies was founded in 1989 with the sole mission to preserve the environment by understanding and working with natural systems instead of artificially controlling them. Over the past 34 years, LandStudies has assessed over 200 square miles of watersheds, created over 60 acres of wetlands, restored over 13 miles of streams and floodplains, and planted over 700 acres of forested riparian buffers and over 100 acres of native meadows. Today, LandStudies has established itself in the environmental community throughout the Mid-Atlantic with its niche, award winning ecological design and restoration services. The company's tight-knit team of expert engineers, landscape architects, and environmental scientists differentiates itself from other environmental firms with its ability to adapt to change efficiently with both passion and continuous innovation. As a design/build company, we boast an ecological construction division comprised of experienced construction managers and labor crews who provide licensure, materials, personnel and skills necessary to produce quality naturalized landscapes.
