Work with our talented water resources staff to successfully deliver a wide variety of projects such as transportation drainage design, stormwater management, and bridge hydraulics. Build and maintain strong client relationships while mentoring and growing staff. This opportunity is open to candidates residing in the following areas: Sioux Falls, SD

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Water Resources, or related field.
  • Knowledge of local and state stormwater design manuals.
  • Extensive experience in civil highway / roadway drainage design, engineering, and construction.
  • Drainage system design experience.
  • Ability to collaborate in office three (3) days per week.
  • Previous experience with storm drain system analysis using CAD software such as MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections/visits, etc.; Occasional overnight travel will be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in civil highway / roadway drainage design, engineering, and construction
  • Experience working with a team of drainage engineers, civil engineers and highway designers to deliver large transportation projects
  • Experience supervising and mentoring other engineers and team members
  • Masters Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
