Your day to day as a Water Resources Civil Engineer As a Water Resources Civil Engineer at Gilmore and Associates, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve the design, analysis, and implementation of water resource projects. You will conduct feasibility studies, hydrological assessments, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related area
strong analytical skills are essential for interpreting complex data and performing hydrological modeling
A solid foundation in civil engineering principles, particularly related to water resource management, will enable you to create effective solutions for diverse projects.
Effective communication skills are paramount, allowing you to articulate technical concepts clearly to clients and team members alike.
Being detail-oriented will help you ensure accuracy in your designs and reports

Nice To Haves

1+ years of experience in civil engineering areas such as planning, investigations, reporting, water resource conveyance, storage and treatment design
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification or Registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania

Responsibilities

Provide design services for water and wastewater facilities
Assist with preparing Federal and State regulatory permit applications and plans
Assist with preparing bid plans and specifications
Compose letters, memoranda, reports, applications and studies
Perform site investigations, construction observation and field reconnaissance
Review private development plans for compliance with applicable authority water and sewer standards
Assist Project Manager to establish new and maintain existing relationships with clients, subcontractors, etc.
