About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Water Resources Civil Engineering Intern – Summer 2026 to join our Dallas, TX office. ABOUT US AtkinsRéalis is a world-class engineering services and nuclear organization. Requirements

  • No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
  • High school level courses in math, technical drafting, computer assisted drafting and/or science may be required.
  • No experience is generally required with the applicable high school courses or equivalent training, or if accepted into an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
  • Math skills to perform simple calculations; willingness to learn.
  • Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation and ESRI ArcGIS (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Learn from professional engineers standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out sequence of somewhat diversified tasks requiring the use of analysis, interpretation, and deductive reasoning.
  • Assist with projects ranging from the design of stormwater pollution prevention controls to the collection of stormwater quality field data in support of the completion of the planning, design, and operation and maintenance of water quality structural and non-structural controls.
  • Provide administrative and operations support.
  • Responsible for the compilation of data and the preparation of reports.
