About The Position

Directly reporting to the Water Management Foreman, FourPoint Resources is seeking a Water Management Operator with a proven track record of accomplishments to support operations in Myton, Utah. The Water Management Operator is primarily responsible for the operation of Saltwater Disposal Facilities, Pump Stations, and Water Pipeline Operations.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in water facilities and pipeline systems operations
• Execute startup, shutdown, and operating procedures for tri-plex, submersible pumps, h-pumps, electric motors, fans, instrumentation, valves, and alarms
• Strong background in various SCADA applications and the ability to diagnose issues remotely
• Must have the ability and willingness to work extended hours and weekends if needed
• Proven record of working independently under little direct supervision
• Must be a team player and possess the ability to work cooperatively with other teams
• Good driving record and a current driver's license
• Safety-sensitive position subject to random drug and alcohol screening
• Must possess strong communication skills, organizational skills, and must sign off on the Operator Competency Training
• Must be able to react to potentially dangerous situations quickly and appropriately
• Standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, visual acuity, hearing, speaking
• Must be able to climb 15 foot high ladders and stairwells
• Must be able to change a flat tire or chain up tires in adverse weather conditions
• Works outdoors approximately 95% of the time
• Works indoors in office approximately 5% of the time
• May be exposed to and must be able to drive in adverse weather conditions (snow, rain, ice, wind, heat, flooding, etc.)
• May be exposed to constant noise, H2S fumes (less than 10 ppm), and high pressure natural gas

Responsibilities

• Carry out day to day operation of water facilities and pipelines including maintenance and construction functions
• Coordinate with all areas of operation to maintain proper pressures, flowrates, temperatures, and tank levels
• Perform maintenance of pumps, controls, pipelines, and valves
• Generate daily reporting and maintain housekeeping standards
• Perform LOTO, JSA's, and various permits as required
• Ensure all Company employees and contractors adhere to Four Point Resources safety policies and procedures
• Adhere to and enforce all applicable company, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations
• Must have the ability to work nights and be on call
• Other duties as required
