About The Position

Greiner Industries is seeking a skilled Water Jet Operator who is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining water cutting equipment (Wardjet) in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to produce high-quality fabricated parts according to specifications.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop orders, and written instructions.
• Proficiency in working with fractions and decimals.
• Skilled in using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years experience in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate water cutting machines as per daily specifications.
• Maintain a productive workflow to meet production goals.
• Accurately record work activity on routing and material sheets when required.
• Safely and efficiently operate tow motors and overhead cranes.
• Identify and report any issues, including quality concerns or non-conforming material reports (NCMRs), to the Department Lead, Supervisor, and Quality team.
