Wastewater & Safety Manager
About The Position
This position is responsible for operations of the manufacturing facility's wastewater processing system, waste solids management, air quality and all other Federal, State and Municipal environmental matters. This position is responsible for obtaining, renewing and complying with all government and regulatory agencies' permits and requirements for the facility. This position is also responsible for the health, safety and development of employees and for ensuring a safe work environment at the facility. Responsibilities include the design and training of safety programs, organizing and conducting safety meetings, disseminating safety information, conducting accident investigation, hazard analysis, coordination of new hire safety orientation, and safety inspections on all new and existing machinery and equipment, work with human resources and management to identify light duty and return to work programs, perform workers compensation related incident investigation and corrective action recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relted field
- Experience related to industrial wastewater treatment, water quality, soil science or agricultural production
- Experience with safety training programs
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, Dart rates, and Job Hazard Analyses
