About The Position

The Waste Water Technician will operate and maintain the plant utility/waste water systems; primarily, Waste Water treatment equipment and filter press systems, including chemical inventory. They are also responsible for following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices. Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies Maintain cleanliness of equipment and waste water treatment area Provide routine oversight of all associated filtration systems, and perform change-outs as needed Maintain proper documentation and records regarding wastewater and chemical waste, in support of waste water discharge permit Perform routine sampling, including sample preparation and transportation of facility waste streams Provide routine inspection of water lines, VOC waste lines, drains, and collection systems Communicate with other departments on a frequent basis Other duties as assigned by management Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic mathematical skills are required.
  • Basic computer experience.
