About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Water / Wastewater Engineer to support the planning, design, and implementation of wastewater and utility infrastructure projects. This role focuses on technical design, regulatory compliance, and coordination with project teams to deliver reliable municipal and commercial wastewater solutions.
The ideal candidate brings strong engineering fundamentals, infrastructure project experience, and familiarity with environmental regulatory frameworks.

Requirements

• Background in wastewater, water resources, or environmental engineering
• Experience with wastewater system design and infrastructure projects
• Understanding of NJDEP and related regulatory requirements preferred
• Strong technical, analytical, and documentation skills
• Ability to interpret engineering standards and construction specifications
• Clear communication and collaborative teamwork abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering field preferred

Responsibilities

• Design wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment system projects
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and construction documents
• Coordinate with project managers, municipalities, and regulatory agencies
• Support permitting efforts and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Assist with construction administration and field coordination as required
• Review plans and specifications to ensure accuracy and constructability
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project timelines and quality standards
