Wash Technician
About The Position
Wash Technicians are responsible for washing tractors and trailers and carrying out all other daily duties that ensure effective operation of a maintenance department. Performing interior and exterior detailing responsibilities per company guidelines. Carry out visual inspection of vehicles to confirm their condition before sending them into the wash area Assist in ensuring local and federal regulations are followed regarding water usage and run off. Perform cleaning of facility and ensure everything is kept in the appropriate place and organized Carry out periodic maintenance of equipment used in washing to keep them in proper working order Assist Mechanics with shop duties as appropriate; be available to shop leadership for projects as needed. Handling urgent situations in a professional manner.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Able to work with car washing equipment/pressure washer and identify proper chemicals and products.
