About The Position

Motor City Wash Works is looking for energetic and motivated candidates to staff its wash bay in our manufacturing facility. As a team member, some Wash Bay essential duties and functions are as follows.

Requirements

• Able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50lbs routinely.
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints and bill of materials.
• Good communication skills, ability to work in a team first atmosphere.
• Use of overhead cranes, wash tank, and pneumatic power tools.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Processing(cleaning and wire brushing)finishedaluminum.
• Inspect finished parts and verify correct welds and hole patterns in correspondence with accompanying blue print.
• Transport material throughout the plantto designated locations.
• Kit/set up jobs for aluminum welding and powder coat.
• Communicate with supervisor on any inventory discrepancy or parts shortage.
