About The Position

Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc. is searching for a motivated Root Cause & Warranty Technician to join our rapidly evolving team! The Root Cause & Warranty Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and documenting rejected transmission assemblies using test data and previous repair history as a guide.

Requirements

Knowledge and use of basic hand tools including powered impact wrenches and torque wrenches
Basic computer knowledge and use
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance as necessary
Ability to work solo and be self-motivated
Ability to read and follow work instructions and support documents

Nice To Haves

Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Microsoft Office experience (Access and Excel)
Automotive/Machinery/Electronics repair experience (work or otherwise)
Ability to read hydraulic and/or electrical diagrams
Ability to use a multimeter or ohmmeter
Previous automatic transmission repair experience (work or otherwise)
Will train as necessary

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair rejected transmission assemblies from production line
Inspect and process warranty transmissions and other dealer returns
Consistently and accurately log all findings in the required databases
Communicate findings with supervisor and/or production, engineering, and quality personnel as required
Keep a clean, safe work area including all tools, test equipment, and computers
Stay up to date regarding product and process changes
Stay up to date with and follow all required safety guidelines and procedures
