Requirements
- Previous experience as a warranty administrator or in a similar role (automotive industry experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of warranty guidelines and manufacturer claim procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency with dealership management systems (experience with Tekion a plus)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
Responsibilities
- Process and submit warranty claims efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with manufacturer policies
- Verify all necessary documentation, including repair orders, parts, and labor for warranty claims
- Monitor and track warranty parts returns, following up with the appropriate departments as needed
- Reconcile warranty receivables and ensure prompt collection from manufacturers
- Handle rejected or denied claims, investigating and resolving issues where applicable
- Work closely with the service and parts department to ensure warranty guidelines are met
- Maintain knowledge of current warranty policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Communicate effectively with manufacturers, service technicians, and customers regarding warranty claim status
