Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; two years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience working with Microsoft Office products.
  • Able to work in a fast paced, service-oriented environment.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and be detail oriented.
  • Requires excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with time entry, billing, scheduling and light accounting preferred.
  • Prior experience working in the power generation industry or industrial environment desired.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for properly handling all warranty claims including verification of serial numbers, part numbers warranty expiration dates.
  • Gather all billing and start-up documents for units involved.
  • Invoice all approved warranty claims.
  • Analyze manufacture policy and rates to determine billable amounts.
  • Data entry into internal system for all new claims.
  • Mediate with manufacturers on claims that are denied.
  • Provide manufacturers with information as needed.
  • Request approvals from manufacturer vendor for out of warranty issues.
  • Assist TAW dealers in filing warranty claims.
  • Oversee all warranty parts and parts returns.
  • Provide training to new personnel relating to warranties.
  • Distribute applicable manufacture service bulletins.
  • Other duties as assigned.
