Requirements

  • Proven experience in automotive warranty administration or a related role within a dealership environment.
  • Strong understanding of warranty policies, procedures, and technical requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across departments and with manufacturer representatives.
  • Proficiency in dealership management software systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • A proactive mindset with problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • All applicants must demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing, including a background check, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Process all warranty claims accurately and efficiently in accordance with GM guidelines and dealership standards.
  • Review repair orders, invoices, and documentation to verify warranty eligibility and ensure proper coding.
  • Communicate regularly with technicians, service advisors, and parts staff to resolve claim discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain detailed records of warranty submissions, approvals, rejections, and reimbursements for audit purposes.
  • Stay updated on GM warranty policies, program changes, and technical bulletins to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with the service department to identify common warranty issues and recommend process improvements.
  • Assist in training staff on warranty procedures and best practices to optimize claim submission success.
