Responsibilities

  • Obtains repair orders from Service Managers and make sure that repair orders are completed correctly.
  • Returns any incomplete or incorrect repair order to the Service Managers for correction.
  • Processes manufacturer warranty claims electronically.
  • Review payments received from manufacturer.
  • Reconciles payment of claim against outstanding warranty receivables.
  • Follows-up on warranty claims as necessary.
  • Forwards appropriate information to the Service Manager for handling rejected warranty claims; upon correction by Service Manager manually resubmits warranty claims.
  • Performs month-end reconciliation and notifies Service Director of any adjustments or write-offs.
  • Maintains warranty files as directed and keeps files for seven years.
  • Must be able to lift minimum 50+ pounds; to return warranty cores and parts.
  • Willing to train and be teachable.
  • Clean surrounding work areas at all times including core bins.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Promotes cooperation and teamwork.
  • Enhances the Service Department and company reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different job requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Willing to train and maintain certifications necessary as ongoing training and development.
  • Complies with all company health and safety regulations.
