Keep reading below to see what we’re looking for! About the team and position We’re looking for a Warranty Administrator to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the accurate, timely submission, correction, and collection of all service warranty claims. This role acts as the key liaison between several internal teams, managing detailed documents and ensuring compliance with all warranty policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Warranty Administrator or in an equivalent administrative role within an automotive dealership.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive service and parts, as well as manufacturer warranty procedures.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous attention to detail, especially in handling financial and compliance-related documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex warranty guidelines to team members and external contacts.
  • Proficiency in dealership management systems (DMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • A clean driving record with no more than two moving violations or DUI’s in the last three years.

Responsibilities

  • Claim Submission & Tracking: Prepare, submit, and track all warranty claims daily to manufacturers or third-party providers to ensure prompt payment
  • Compliance & Auditing: Audit repair orders for proper documentation, labor times, and codes, ensuring strict adherence to manufacturer and dealership warranty policies; promptly addressing any discrepancies or unpaid claims
  • Team Communication & Support: Act as the primary liaison with service advisors and technicians to correct errors on repair orders and provide training on proper warranty procedures.
  • Documentation & Policy Expertise: Maintain accurate records of all submitted claims and correspondence, and stay current on all manufacturer and third-party warranty policies and updates.
