About The Position

As a Warranty Admin, you will play a crucial role in the analysis and processing of claims, supporting warranty claims administration, and ensuring compliance with published policies and procedures. This position requires you to research multiple system resources, including mainframe and web-based applications, to gather facts from dealership repair orders and internal databases. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting the request and receipt of warranty parts for analysis and adhering to safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Administrative support and data entry expertise.
  • Strong customer service and client relations skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Experience in warranty claims and automotive industry.
  • Ability to lift packages and parts up to 80 pounds.
  • Knowledge of dealership service operations and warranty administration.

  • Associate degree or Vocational Degree in Automotive Technology preferred.
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Problem resolution and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to become HAZMAT certified and certified to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

  • Support warranty claims administration, including labor operation coding and flat rate time review.
  • Research multiple system resources to gather facts and support the warranty claim process.
  • Review warranty parts and documentation for compliance and report findings of non-compliance.
  • Communicate with various teams, dealerships, and departments regarding claim research results.
  • Utilize multiple system resources, including Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ship and offload part shipments for multiple divisions, confirming correct part receipt.
  • Communicate received parts to appropriate departments and resolve shipment exceptions.
  • Assist in returning parts to vendors and other locations.
  • Manage and administer parts 'call-in' and 'receipt' using Mainframe application.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and operate dedicated warehouse Forklift.
  • Utilize EXCEL and other data resources to support monthly warehouse activities.
  • Review freight reimbursement and vendor billing.
