About The Position

Warehouse Direct is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Warewashing & Laundry Service Technician who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and delivering excellent service to customers. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair commercial warewashing, laundry, and housekeeping chemical dispensing systems for our clients.

This position is ideal for a technician who takes pride in quality work, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and building strong relationships with customers. If you enjoy hands-on work and being the go-to expert in the field, we want to hear from you.

As a Warewashing & Laundry Service Technician, you will play a key role in keeping our customers’ equipment operating efficiently and safely.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly communicate with customers to respond to service needs and provide solutions. The position frequently requires standing, kneeling, bending, or working at floor level for extended periods of time while servicing equipment.

Technicians must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy objects as necessary to complete installations and repairs. The role also requires the use of mobile technology and company systems to search for and access detailed service information, complete reports, and maintain communication between the technician and the home office.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage a service schedule
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• A proactive mindset with the ability to spot opportunities to help customers improve their operations

Nice To Haves

• Experience with commercial dishwashing, laundry systems, or chemical dispensing equipment (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Performing monthly preventive maintenance and service visits on warewashing and laundry chemical dispensing systems
• Responding to emergency service calls within 24 hours to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
• Installing commercial warewashing, laundry, and housekeeping dispensing systems at customer locations
• Troubleshooting system performance using testing kits and diagnostic tools
• Completing detailed service reports after each maintenance visit using company technology systems
• Building strong relationships with customers and identifying opportunities for additional products or services
• Communicating potential sales opportunities and customer needs to the appropriate sales manager
• Following up on leads and referrals generated through field service interactions
• Supporting additional service or operational initiatives as directed by management
