About The Position
The Trinity Homes Laundry Technician performs laundry and linen services for Trinity Homes, including the collection, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distribution of resident and facility linens. This role supports a clean, comfortable, and well-organized living environment by maintaining linen quality and consistently following infection prevention, safety, and organizational guidelines. Working within a collaborative, team-oriented setting, the Trinity Homes Laundry Technician partners closely with nursing, environmental services, and other departments to ensure reliable and timely linen availability that supports resident care and daily operations.
Requirements
- None Licenses and Certifications Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous Laundry experience is preferred.
- Ability to understand laundry procedures.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
Nice To Haves
- Prefers labeling room staff to have previous clothes labeling/sewing/laundry experience.
Responsibilities
- Collect soiled linens and personal items from designated locations and transport them safely to the laundry area.
- Sort linens and garments according to type, washing requirements, and facility procedures.
- Operate commercial washers, dryers, and related equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions and safety practices.
- Fold, stack, and prepare clean linens and garments for delivery, ensuring items meet quality and cleanliness standards.
- Deliver clean linens and personal items to resident rooms, units, and storage areas according to assigned routes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry work area and report equipment or supply issues to supervision.
