About The Position

Atlas Wholesale Food Company is seeking a reliable, mechanically inclined Warewash Service Technician to service and maintain commercial dishwashing and beverage equipment at restaurant customer locations. This is a part-time, field-based position primarily serving Southeast Michigan, with occasional travel to Grand Rapids, Lansing, Traverse City, and Cleveland. Mileage is paid for travel outside a 60-mile radius of Westland, MI. Current Equipment Base The technician will support an installed base of:  21 commercial dish machines (high-temp & low-temp)  68 mop sinks and 3-compartment sinks  41 commercial coƯee machines

Requirements

• The candidate should have prior experience and certification servicing warewash equipment.
• Atlas will provide training for our specific equipment.

• Experience in maintenance, equipment repair, facilities work, HVAC, plumbing, or similar hands-on roles
• Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical systems
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance and calibration on: o High- and low-temperature dish machines o Mop sinks o 3-compartment sinks o Commercial coƯee machines
• Schedule and conduct routine preventive maintenance visits
• Respond promptly to customer-initiated service calls
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues on-site
• Communicate professionally with restaurant managers and staƯ
• Maintain accurate documentation of: o Service visits o Maintenance activities o Calibration results o Repair notes
• Coordinate scheduling to ensure timely service across assigned territory
