About The Position

The X-Ray Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the Warehouse X-Ray Department, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This role provides direct leadership to department employees and is accountable for maintaining high levels of productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and workplace safety. The X-Ray Supervisor reports directly to the Facility Manager.

Requirements

  • Education: High School degree or equivalent, and 3 years relative work experience.
  • Experience: Prior SAP, EIM and ORTEC experience required; X-ray or related operations experience preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in SAP/EIM and ORTEC tasks such as: inventory, hold and release, shipping, receiving and STO ORTEC order creation.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate with plant leadership, Quality Assurance, transportation, and product movement teams.
  • Additional Skills: Self-motivated leader with strong organizational, problem-solving, and team development skills.

  • X-ray or related operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe operation of X-ray equipment, Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment and compliance with warehouse safety guidelines.
  • Supervise, train, and develop Warehouse/X-Ray Department employees in accordance with company policies and applicable labor laws.
  • Plan, assign, and direct daily work activities to ensure production and quality goals are met.
  • Create work schedules, manage overtime, and maintain appropriate staffing levels to support operational needs.
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations, provide coaching, and administer corrective actions when necessary.
  • Address employee concerns, resolve operational issues, and foster a positive and professional work environment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including processing hold and release requests in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Ensure proper coordination and scheduling of inbound and outbound loads to and from plants and warehouses.
  • Creating inbound and outbound loads following network and transportation guidelines using SAP/EIM and ORTEC systems.
  • Oversee housekeeping standards and ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within assigned work areas.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations and X-ray processes, ensuring proper setup and operation of X-ray and metal detection equipment per training and SOPs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational and departmental objectives.
  • Expected to provide line coverage and operational support across all aspects of the X-ray process as needed.
