About The Position

Receives and distributes tires and other items within warehouse by performing the following duties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Must be 18 years of age
• One month related experience/training

Responsibilities

• Provides customers with knowledgeable, courteous and prompt service at all times, while being sensitive to their needs.
• A team player committed to continuous improvement.
• Adheres to and supports safe work practices and Commercial Tire’s safety guidelines and standards
• Receives all inbound freight within warehouse, unloads freight on truck and checks off orders in a timely fashion. Maintains high accuracy level in check-off procedures.
• Reads work orders to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed. Loads trucks.
• Uses computer to assist with locating types of tires by manufacturer; transfers inventory to stores; closes out transfer requests and bills the appropriate location.
• Assists with slow-moving, obsolete inventory items and reports observations to supervisor.
• Assists with requests received from store personnel or outside customers, researches problem if necessary and responds in a timely fashion.
• Maintains a clean, neat and orderly warehouse environment with inventory stored in its proper place. Helps with maintaining over-stocked areas.
• May operate forklift and other vehicles, if necessary.
• Completes all required training.
• All other duties as assigned to support the business.
