About The Position

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and stack materials in our warehouse. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will be crucial to maintaining a productive and organized warehouse environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic math skills
• Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts such as clamp trucks and reach trucks
• Knowledge of proper materials handling techniques and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to transport materials within the warehouse
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift
• Stack and organize materials in designated areas
• Perform routine inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance or repair needs
• Utilize warehouse management system to track inventory and locate materials
• Will be asked to perform duties outside of your job description
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
• Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure efficient workflow
